A locals casino is a casino intended to attract residents of the area in which it was built rather then tourists or vacationers. The term is the majority commonly associated with Las Vegas.
Locals casinos more often than not have a dissimilar mix of games then other casinos in the area. They typically offer higher payouts, with some video poker machines offers payout of greater than 100%, to draw those who live in the area. Local casinos can range from locations with less than 15 machines like in a bar with no lodging to resorts that have hundreds of machines and hotels with hundreds of rooms.
Locals casinos in Vegas will present games not available in Strip casinos like bingo. They often include bowling, movie theaters and occasionally day care.

The Main Street Station Hotel and Casino and Brewery are a hotel and casino situated in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It is one of the casinos owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation.
It is linked by an enclosed walkway to the California Hotel and Casino. One distinguished feature is that the men's restroom situated to the right of the buffet contains a large slab of the Berlin Wall to which the urinals are affixed. A poster above the slab gives a short history and is accompanied by photos of the wall being torn down.

The Colorado Belle Hotel & Casino is a resort on the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. The Colorado Belle is a six-deck copy of a 19th century Mississippi paddlewheel riverboat, and has 1,173 recently remodeled rooms. The casino has 65,000 sq ft. of betting space with more than 1,200 slot machines, keno lounge, and a poker room. A sports book is situated on "B" deck. The hotel has more than seven restaurants, and a gift shop.

Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino is situated in Laughlin, Nevada, on the Colorado River. It was the first hotel and casino constructed in the town. The resort features 1,400 rooms, a casino with a contest and sports book, 34-lane bowling center, and 6 movie theaters.
The resort also has a full-service RV commons with 740 spaces, as well as more than a few places to eat. The hotel has its own yacht, The U.S.S. Riverside, which is available for charter.
